WA to implement Skilled Graduate occupation lists

The Western Australia Government has announced that it will be developing a new occupation list for Skilled graduates of WA universities.

High achieving education graduates - PhD, Masters, Honours and other higher degree graduates - will have a pathway to skilled migration, with priority consideration for State Nominated Migration. The introduction of this list is expected to also increase the number of international students choosing to study in WA.


SAF commences on 12 August 2018

It was officially released that the Migration (Skilling Australian Funds) Charges Act 2018 will commence on 12 August 2018.

The amount of charge payable is specified by the Migration (Skilling Australian Funds) Charges regulations 2018, as follows:


South Australia Lists of State Nominated Occupations for 2018/2019

Immigration South Australia has now released the new Lists of State Nominated Occupations. This is available to all applicants, including international graduates of South Australia. ( Table 1)

Additional occupations are available on the Supplementary Skilled List. The Supplementary skilled list reflects occupations available on the Short Term Skilled Occupation List |(STSOL) that are not available in South Australia's state occupation list. These occupations are only available if they meet the additional requirements listed here. (Table 2)


Queensland State Sponsorship for skilled visa - Now Open

The state of Queensland, is now open to receive expression of interest for the General Skilled Migration Program (GSM)  for applicants who meet the eligibility and points test for the following occupations currently in shortage:
